Small Groups are a great way to experience authentic community.
Groups come in many shapes and sizes, but they almost always include a time of fun, fellowship, food(!), prayer and learning from God’s Word. Some groups share a similar age and stage of life, but many are multi-generational. Weekly sermon notes provide a roadmap to engaging discussion and help groups dive deeper into the Word.
There are three ways to find your group:
- Join an Existing Group. Click HERE to view a list of open groups. Then select “Request to Join” and the coordinator will provide instructions on how to get started.
- Attend Group Link. The next event is February 4. This is a fun gathering for everyone who is interested in forming a new group. With a host home and a group coordinator, the Connections Team will walk you through the starter group process. Sign up HERE and make plans to join us for Group Link on February 4. If you can’t make it, the next one will be in June.
- Start a new group. If you are ready to host and coordinate a new group, awesome! Complete the interest form at the bottom of this page. Our Small Groups Pastor will set up a brief interview. Once approved, we’ll get your group listed and the Connections Team can start inviting people to your new group.
At Hill Country, small groups are the foundation of care ministry. These are the people you will turn to for help and support when life happens. It’s exciting to see how God moves when we open the door to authentic relationships. Hear how joining a group made all the difference for Kaela and Ryan:
