Baptism is going public about your faith in Jesus and communicating to the world your heart-felt commitment to following Him. It's the next step after salvation.
Baptism is one of two ordinances we observe, the other being communion. We believe the Bible teaches that each person who has placed their faith in Jesus Christ for their eternal salvation should publicly declare their commitment to Him through baptism (Acts 2:41 and 8:12).

- Represents our death to sin through the blood of Jesus Christ and our new life in Him (Romans 6:3-4)
- Was modeled for us and instructed to us by Jesus (Mark 1:9; Matthew 28:19)
