Korey Buchanek Bio:
Korey Buchanek has been in full-time Christian ministry for the past twenty-nine years. He grew up in Keller, TX where his father was a traveling evangelist. He attended Oklahoma Baptist University and graduated with a degree in Biblical Studies with an emphasis on theology. OBU is where he met his wife, Heather Buchanek. While pursuing his MDiv at Golden Gate Theological Seminary, he accepted the invitation to work with a group of local Hawaiians to plant a church on the Big Island in Kailua-Kona, HI. Korey and Heather have been married for twenty-nine years and have four children. Korey has planted two churches and currently serves as the Senior Pastor of a church in the Central Valley of CA.
Korey has experienced both the brokenness and the grace within the local church, which drives him toward unity and healing in the Bride of Christ. He has been blessed to live out his calling as a pastor in CO, HI, and CA. Korey currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Servants of Christ International, a global missions organization that assists in the financial administration of active missionaries.
